ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

                                                                                 

MINUTES

 

July 5, 2016

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 5^th day of July 2016 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                                                         

OPENING BUSINESS:

Chairman Rush called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the Agenda.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the Minutes of June 27, 2016.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Michael Peschka was in attendance but did not wish to address the Commissioners.

 

Appointments:

Jamie Rathbun, Midway Extension District, wanted to know where a memorial bench on the fairgrounds should be placed.  The Commissioners said after their meeting they would go look and make a suggestion on where to place bench.

 

Theresa Richards representing the Ellsworth Senior Center, presented the budget of $27,500.00 an increase of $2500.00 or 10%.  Members present were Sherri Rathbun, Betty Slechta and Thomasa Cisneros. 

 

NEW BUSINESS:

Commissioner Oller made a motion to approve June Accounts Payable in the amount of $361,414.72 plus Prewritten Warrants, $14,404.84 for a total of $375,819.56.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Oller made a motion to approve June Payroll in the amount of $226,439.49.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

Chairman Rush adjourned the meeting at 11:20 a.m.
