ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

                                                                                 

MINUTES

 

March 7, 2016

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 7^th day of March 2016 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                                       

OPENING BUSINESS:

Chairman Rush called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Oller moved to approve the Agenda.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the Minutes of February 29, 2016 as presented.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

No one was present for the Open Forum.

 

Appointments:

No Appointments.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

Commissioner Oller moved to approve Abatement 2015-168 in the amount of $38.46.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Oller moved to approve the Cereal Malt Beverage License for Kanopolis Tower Harbor Marina, Inc.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioners signed a letter in opposition of Senate Bill 316.  SB 316 is a City and County Tax lid.  County Clerk emailed to Randall Allen, Executive Director with the Kansas Association of Counties, to present to the Senate and House.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

Chairman Rush adjourned the meeting at 10:30 a.m.
