ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

                                                                                 

MINUTES

 

February 22, 2016

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 22^nd day of February 2016 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                                       

OPENING BUSINESS:

Chairman Rush called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the Agenda with an amendment.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Oller moved to approve the Minutes of February 16, 2016.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

No one was present at the Open Forum.

 

Appointments:

Rick Nondorf, Road & Bridge Supervisor, informed the Commissioners that the bridge by the Kanopolis Cemetery needs replaced soon. Mr. Nondorf also let them know he is going to be replacing one of the Komatsu mowers.  He will get bids on mowers and return to discuss with Commissioners what kind of mower he wants to purchase.

 

Roger Masse, ECMC Administrator, went over the ECMC Income Statement with the Commissioners.  Mr. Masse said ECMC is right on budget.  The Hospital Board still needs an appointment to the Board since Rich Booher has to leave because of term limits. 

 

Rob Fillion, Economic Development Director, came in to answer questions about an email to the Commissioners from Barton County on JobFest.  Rob thinks job fairs are a good idea.  He will check with businesses in Ellsworth County and report back to the Commissioners which businesses showed interest.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

Chairman Rush adjourned the meeting at 11:45 a.m.
