ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

                                                                                 

MINUTES

 

October 12, 2015

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 12^th day of October 2015 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                                       

OPENING BUSINESS:

 

Chairman Oller called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the Agenda.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the Minutes of October 5, 2015.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

 

APPOINTMENTS:

 

Teresa Shute, Noxious Weed & Landfill Supervisor, let the Commissioners know that she was going to have sealed bids for the 1989 Ford Aerostar Van and Chevrolet pickup. 

 

Rick Nondorf, Road & Bridge Supervisor, let the Commissioners know that the state would fund a bridge project in the amount of $271,000 through a grant.  He is projecting the total cost of bridge will be $338,000, so the County will have to come up with approximately $67,000 to complete the project.  Commissioner Rush moved to accept the 2017 Off System Bridge Project grant in the amount of $271,000.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Melvin McCary, representing the Ellsworth Historical Society, brought an application for a Landfill Waiver in the amount of $1500.00.  Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the application for the Landfill Waiver for the Ellsworth Historical Society in the amount of $1500.00.  Commissioner Rush seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

ADJOURNMENT:
