ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

                                                                                 

MINUTES

 

JULY 20, 2015

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 20^th day of July 2015 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                                       

OPENING BUSINESS:

 

Chairman Oller called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the Agenda.  Commissioner Rush seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the Minutes of July13, 2015.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

 

Roger Masse, ECMC Administrator, reported the two new board members were on board and he felt they would be a real asset to the board.  Board Officers remain the same with the except of new board member, Ken Jarvis, is the secretary and Deb Hyman has been appointed to represent the board on the Health Foundation Board.  Financials for the month of June look good but more will be known after the year-end audit.  Two new bedside monitors were purchased.

 

Larry Sharp, K-Camp Representative, gave the Commissioners an update on the administration and assets of the company.  New programs were emphasized.

 

Craig Lilak, Wilson resident, complained to the Commissioners about the overlay the Road & Bridge Department did on Ave E by his house.  He had just recently put in new guttering in order for his property to drain.  When they did the overlay, it was covered up and now he is in the process of digging it out.  The Commissioner will visit with Mr. Nondorf about the matter.

 

OTHER BUSINESS:

 

The Commissioners did some work on the budgets that have been submitted and will meet on Wednesday, July 22 at 2:00 p.m. for a work session to finish 2016 budget requests.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

 

Chairman Oller adjourned the meeting at 12:45 p.m.
