ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

                                                                                 

MINUTES

 

MAY 26, 2015

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 26^th day of May 2015 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                                       

OPENING BUSINESS:

 

Chairman Oller called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Oller moved to approve the Agenda with an addition.  Commissioner Rush seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the Minutes of May 18, 2015.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

 

Rick Nondorf, Road & Bridge Supervisor, reported that roads were washed out in Langley Township from the torrential rains on Sunday evening.  He has sent out employees to see what they can do to help.  Upon the request of Mr. Nondorf, Commissioner Kueser moved to go into executive session to discuss non-elected personnel from 9:08 a.m. until 9:20 a.m. Commissioner Rush seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.  The Commissioners returned to open session at 9:20 a.m. and no action was taken.

 

Sheriff Tracy Ploutz visited with the Commissioners about the overcrowding at the jail and additional staffing.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve a 1/8 page ad in the Progress Edition of the Ellsworth Independent Reporter.  Commissioner Rush seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

 

Chairman Oller adjourned the meeting at 11:15 p.m.
