ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

                                                                                 

MINUTES

 

OCTOBER 27, 2014

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 27^th of October 2014 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                                       

OPENING BUSINESS:

 

Chairman Kueser called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Oller moved to approve the Agenda.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 2-0.

 

Commissioner Oller moved to approve the Minutes of October 20, 2014.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 2-0.

 

No one was present for the Public Forum.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

 

Leigh Ann Montoy and Shawn Esterl, Saline County Health Department, presented the third quarter report of services in the county.  There were 99 hours worked in Ellsworth County with the majority of the services being real estate sewer inspections and water inspections.  The new sanitary code is almost completed.  A public hearing will have to be held before the final approval.  A completed copy is being mailed to the County Attorney.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the participation fee of $175 to KAC for a compensation study for all counties.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 2-0.

 

Commissioner Oller moved to approve a one-quarter page ad for the Ellsworth County I/R county-wide edition.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 2-0.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

 

Chairman Kueser adjourned the meeting at 10:30 a.m.
