ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

                                                                                 

MINUTES

 

MAY 12, 2014

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 12^th day of May, 2014 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                                       

OPENING BUSINESS:

 

Chairman Kueser called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the Agenda.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Oller moved to approve the Minutes of May 5, 2014.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

No was present for the Public Forum.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

 

Roderic Rees, EMS Director, asked permission to use the gasoline debit card to renew their DEA license.  The Commissioners agreed.  Mr. Rees reported the Wilson ambulance was here being used and he is working on bids for a remount for the ambulance.

 

Joe Shepack, Ellsworth County Attorney, dropped by and visited with the Commissioners about new legislation.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the AIA Contract with Harbin Construction, LLC for the safety cell at the Law enforcement Center.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve Resolution 2014R08, A Resolution To Approve Participation In And Adoption Of The Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy For The Region Served By The North Central Regional Planning Commission.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

 

Chairman Kueser adjourned the meeting at 10:30 a.m.
