ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING

                                                                                 

MINUTES

 

FEBRUARY 18, 2014

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 18^th day of February, 2014 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                                                                           

OPENING BUSINESS:

 

Chairman Kueser called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the Agenda.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the Minutes of February 10, 2014.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

No one was present for the Public Forum.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

 

Although Carry Hipp did not have an appointment, she stopped in to tell the Commissioners that a new fire district would not be formed in the Holyrood area.  At the last meeting Valley and Palacky Township expressed their concern with the additional mill levy that might be needed to support the district.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Commissioner Oller moved to approve Abatements 31-44 (Payments Under Protest) in the amount of $5,373.18.  Commissioner Rush seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

 

Chairman Kueser adjourned the meeting at 10:30 a.m.
