ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSIONER MEETING

 

MINUTES

 

JULY 6, 2010

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 6^th day of July 2010 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                           

                                                                                                                       

OPENING BUSINESS:

 

Chairman Rush called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the Agenda as printed. Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the Minutes of June 28, 2010.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

No one was present for the Public Forum.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

 

Ronda Kasiska, Health Supervisor, presented revised grants and a contract with the new consolidated school district #112 for signature.  Upon a completion of a successful probationary period, Mrs. Kasiska asked that employee Cynthia Lamia be moved to 3-l on the salary schedule.  Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the recommendation to move Cynthia Lamia to 3-l on the salary schedule effective July 1, 2010.  Commissioner Rush seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

The Commissioner convened into a budget worksession.  Upon completion, the County Clerk was given budget totals to balance for approval at the next meeting.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

There were no old business items.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the June account payables in the amount of $400,458.34 and pre-written warrants $18,837.91 for a total of $419,323.25.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Rush volunteered to represent the Board of Commissioners at the Ellsworth Airport Fly-In and Dedication on August 7^th.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

 

Chairman Rush adjourned the meeting at 1:00 p.m.
