ELLSWORTH COUNTY COMMISSIONER MEETING

 

MINUTES

 

June 7, 2010

 

The Board of Ellsworth County Commissioners convened this 7^th day of June 2010 at the Ellsworth County Courthouse. 

 

                                                            Members Present:

                                                            Albert W. Oller, 1^st District Commissioner

                                                            Kermit Rush, 2^nd District Commissioner

                                                            Terry L. Kueser, 3^rd District Commissioner

                                                           

                                                                                                                       

OPENING BUSINESS:

 

Chairman Rush called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

Commissioner Kueser moved to approve the Agenda as printed. Commissioner Rush seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the Minutes of June 1, 2010.  Commissioner Oller seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

No one was present for the Public Forum.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

 

Janice Sneath, Register of Deeds, presented her budget for 2011 of $79,334, an increase of $3,757 or 5%.

 

Joe Shepack, County Attorney, made a budget request of $118,900 for 2011.  This is an increase of $4,570 or an increase of 4%.

 

Pam Hays and Brad Kratzer, representing the Soil Conservation District, requested $29,000 for the 2011 budget. This is the same amount as requested last year.  As of July 1, 2010, they will lose all of their NPS funding and will no longer have a NPS Coordinator.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

There were no old business items.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Commissioner Rush moved to approve the May accounts payable in the amount of $256,317.86 and pre-written warrant of $9,591.84 for a total of $265,909.70.  Commissioner Kueser seconded the motion.  Motion carried 3-0.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

 

Chairman Rush adjourned the meeting at 11:45 a.m.
